Dr. Ordo is practice management software — appointments, records and billing for clinics. It is a tool for running a practice, not a medical device and not a source of clinical advice. The practice remains responsible for its patients and its records.
1. The agreement
These terms apply to drordo.com and the Dr. Ordo application behind sign-in. Creating an account, or being added to a practice's account by its administrator, means accepting them. A practice that signs up confirms the person doing so is authorised to bind it.
2. What the service does
Dr. Ordo lets a practice manage appointments, patient records and billing in one application. It is administrative software.
It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and nothing in it is clinical advice. Clinical decisions, the accuracy of records, and compliance with the professional rules that govern the practice remain the practice's responsibility.
3. The practice's data and its patients
Records entered into Dr. Ordo belong to the practice. The practice is the controller of its patients' data, including health data; Dr. Ordo processes that data only on the practice's instructions, as described in the privacy policy, and takes no other rights over it.
The practice is responsible for having the lawful basis to hold its patient records, for the accuracy of what its staff enter, and for answering its patients' requests about their own data.
4. Accounts and access
Each staff member uses their own account; sharing credentials is not permitted, because the access log is only meaningful if accounts map to people. The practice administrator controls who has access and at what level, and is responsible for removing access when someone leaves.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to access records of patients you have no role in treating or administering, do not attempt to disrupt the service or probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, and do not use it for anything unlawful.
6. Plans, payment and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance at the price shown at checkout. A practice can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period, and the practice can export its records before and for a stated period after the end of service.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, and a practice should have a procedure for operating during an outage. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid in the twelve months before the claim; nothing limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
8. Changes, termination and contact
These terms may change; the date above records when, and continued use after a change means accepting it. An account may be suspended for breach of the acceptable use section, with notice where circumstances allow. Questions about these terms go via the support page at /support.
